Better Browsers:

I'm not sure if all you javascript developers out there have heard about this but if you haven't, it is rather interesting and worthy to check out.
It is called WebGL and it used to be called O3D before which is now deprecated. Basically it is an OpenGL API that provides 3D graphics to run on browsers. Of course it isn't as efficient and fast as a native desktop application but it is still powerful enough for a lot of things!

Also here is a good page on 3DS models and how to use them in webGL.

Here is a picture of the basic example of it for you to see and get excited :D
